Strong Sale Returns At Goffs

Progeny by Jet Away continue to be in strong demand with good sale returns registered at the Goffs December NH Sale. 15 lots realised an aggregate of €176,500 at an average price of €11,767.

Heading the list was Lot 191 a chestnut colt out of Arcadio mare Gypsy Joe, a sister to Imperial Cup Handicap Hurdle (Gr 3) winner Flying Angel. The Peter Nolan Bloodstock consigned colt on behalf of owner Joe Manning, sold to Bobby O’Ryan for €32,000.

Later in the sale Mount Eaton Stud went to €23,000 for Lot 266 a bay or brown colt out of Maggie Connolly (Definite Article) who hails from the family of multiple Grade One winner Cousin Vinny and Hidebound.
