Winners Keep On Coming For Jet Away As Brandy Love Makes £200k

The winners continue to flow for Arctic Tack-based stallion Jet Away with Bring The Action scoring at Bray on Sunday to take his total number of winners to three from only four runners.

Trained by Denis Paul Murphy, the four-year-old Bring The Action scored an easy two length victory in the four-year-old maiden that was run at a decent gallop in testing conditions in which only three runners finished. Bring The Action led before the second last and should have a bright future ahead of him on the track.

Following the victory, Murphy stated that the gelding would be sales bound.

Jet Away’s first two winners came the weekend prior with Supreme Jet and Brandy Love scoring at Oldtown and Craigmore. Having created an impression when she beat the boys at Craigmore, Brandy Love has now joined the Willie Mullins stable to continue her career after Harold Kirk saw off Tom Malone with a bid of £200,000 for the filly at the Tattersalls Cheltenham February Sale on Friday.

“We always buy fillies as there’s a great program for them in England and Ireland now,” said Kirk. “She’s a brilliant jumper, a fabulous jumper, so hopefully she’ll jump fences one day. She showed a lot of class against the geldings.

“I didn’t think we’d have to give that much for her, but, to me, she’s the best racehorse here today. Hopefully she’ll be back here running in the fillies’ chase.”
