Continued Popularity For Jet Away At The Sales

Jet Away’s progeny continued to prove popular at the recent Goffs Land Rover Sale and Tattersalls Ireland Derby Sale averaging €37,000 and selling up to €50,000 across the two sales.

Heading the four sold at the Land Rover was Lot 96 a gelding out of Hannah Rose (Un Desperado) who sold to RedGap Partnership for €50,000. The well-made three-year-old was consigned by Mocklershill Stable and is a half-brother to Pierce Molony Memorial Novice Chase (Gr 3) winner and Easter Festival Novice Hurdle (Gr 2) placegetter Zero Ten.

A few lots prior Tessa Greatrex / Highflyer went to €42,000 for Lot 87 a gelding out of stakes producing mare Gaye Mercy (Petocki). The attractive chestnut gelding is from the same family of Simon (Overbury) winner of the Racing Post Handicap Chase (Gr 3) and Grade 2 winner Slieveardagh (King’s Theatre).

Heading the way at the Derby Sale was Lot 89 a half-brother to Westerner Lady (Westerner) who sold to Leamore Horses for €45,000. This is also the family of Grade 2 winner and Grade 1 placed Made In Taipan (Taipan).
